Pixel Shaker

I started drawing this picture last night and didn’t finish it. I had her hand out but I wasn’t sure what she should be catching so I put the sketchbook away and went to bed.

Today, while I was walking outside to get lunch, I looked up and saw a little feather falling from the sky. I reached out and caught it with my hands. It was a magical moment! After I got home, I had the urge to draw something so I opened the sketchbook and saw the picture I drew last night. It was another magical moment for me because I had forgotten about it. I finished it up with little feathers and here it is. :)

In a couple of days I will be flying back home to Florida. I’m looking forward to see my hubby and my family again, but I will really miss Princeton and my memories here in Princeton. It has been a wonderful summer, with lots of learning, lots of busy work, lots of goofy laughters, and lots of bike riding through the up and downs of Jefferson Rd. I will miss the pretty gardens that I passed by every morning and afternoon on my bike, all the restaurants and little shops on Nassau street, and all the awesome people that I had the honor of meeting and learning from during my brief stay. I don’t know if I will ever be back to Princeton again or if I’ll ever see these lovely people again. I pray for all of them, and I know they’ll continue to be happy and fulfilled after my departure.
